🚀 Attention crypto-investors! The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has launched a second consultation document on the Markets in Cryptoassets (MiCA) regulations. They seek input from stakeholders in 5 key areas:

1️⃣ Sustainability indicators for blockchains;
2️⃣ Disclosure of privileged information;
3️⃣ Technical requirements for technical documents (white papers);
4️⃣ Commercial transparency measures;
5️⃣ Registration of cryptoasset service providers (CASPs).

ESMA proposes that CASPs report transaction data and allow it to be stored in the format they consider most appropriate, as long as they can convert it if requested by authorities.

The final report will be based on the comments received and will be presented to the European Commission by June 30, 2024. But first, ESMA will publish a third consultation package in the first quarter of 2024.
