Dubai Regulator Blocks Sale and Distribution of Islamic Coins,
Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) recently said companies that distribute and market Islamic coins (ISLM) do not have the authority to do so. VARA said Bored Gen DMCC must suspend marketing activities until it obtains appropriate approvals. This step taken by the regulator comes just days after the crypto project was named blockchain innovation of the year.
