The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has filed documents stating that two luxury jets belonging to Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) are now subject to forfeiture. The Bombardier Global and Embraer Legacy aircraft are at the center of an ownership dispute between the government, SBF's former cryptocurrency exchange FTX, and aviation companies Island Air Capital (IAC). The government claims the jets were purchased with fraudulent funds, while FTX argues the loans used were not documented. This comes as SBF is on trial for criminal and fraud charges related to the fall of FTX in November 2022.
