Decentralized social media application Stars Arena has greatly increased activity on the Avalanche C-chain network. As network activity increases, the price of the network's native AVAX (AVAX) token has also increased by more than 8% in the last 24 hours.

Launched at the end of September, the Friend.tech-inspired Stars Arena has seen the number of daily transactions on the Avalanche C-chain increase by more than 186% in the last two days. The app has grown rapidly and has over 10,000 unique active wallets on the platform.

Stars Arena allows users to link their Twitter accounts to the platform. Users purchase other users' "tickets" using the AVAX token. When tickets are purchased and sold, a small portion of the fees is paid to the platform and users.

Thanks to Stars Arena's public feed, users can get even more social than Friend.tech. However, there are users who state that the application is still quite buggy and the chats are "too slow".

Stars Arena is the latest app to join social finance platforms such as Alpha (Bitcoin network), Friendzy (Solana) and PostTech (Arbitrum). Despite the increase in similar DeSo applications, Friend.tech remains the market leader.
