🚀OP Labs launches the test version of its fail-safe system for the Optimism network, seeking a more decentralized and efficient Superchain. Currently, OP Stack-based networks use centralized sequencers, which creates risks of fraudulent transactions.
The new fail-safe system, composed of a program (FPP), a virtual machine (FPVM) and a "dispute game" protocol, will allow each network to develop its own fraud prevention system, increasing diversity and security of the Optimism ecosystem.
