Odaily Planet Daily News: Ethereum core developers discussed the progress of Dencun upgrade testing, early audit results of EIP-4788, beacon block roots in EVM and other issues in the 171st conference call. The Devnet-9 release of the Dencun test has been postponed again and is scheduled to start at the end of September or this week. At the same time, developers will also test the workflow of validators to obtain MEV using the MEV-Boost software on Devnet-9 and 10.

EIP-4788 has completed three audits, and one of the most important findings is that users can query smart contract addresses using zero timestamps. In addition, developers also discussed Ethereum's new privacy solution EIP-7503 based on zero-knowledge cryptography technology, which will provide stronger privacy guarantees for users' transactions and allow users to submit "innocent certificates" for their accounts for regulatory and compliance purposes.
