According to PANews, the blockchain gaming studio Aether Games has officially announced its closure. Aether Games stated that despite efforts to adapt to market changes and adjust direction, it has failed to find a sustainable path for development.
Aether Games reflects on the factors of failure, including misconduct during the token generation event, unfulfilled promises from the marketing agency, and high operational costs. Recently, multiple exchanges have issued delisting risk notifications, and the project team admitted to not having found a sustainable business model for crypto games.
The project will close the Discord channel and remind users to be wary of scam links and wallet theft attempts. In May 2023, Aether Games completed a $4.5 million equity financing.
