According to PANews, Spanish international bank BBVA announced a multi-year strategic partnership with OpenAI to promote ChatGPT Enterprise to 120,000 employees globally, expanding its reach tenfold. The collaboration aims to enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and drive the application of AI in banking.
BBVA plans to leverage OpenAI technology to develop AI solutions that improve customer interactions, enhance employee productivity, optimize risk analysis processes, and redesign software development processes. Previously, the pilot deployment of ChatGPT helped employees save nearly three hours of task time each week.
The collaboration also includes training programs and tool integration models to ensure the safe and consistent application of AI tools across 25 countries worldwide. BBVA plans to provide services directly to customers through ChatGPT, accelerating its transformation into an AI-native bank. BBVA Chairman Carlos Torres Vila stated that this collaboration will bring a smarter and more personalized banking experience.
