Premia Labs just fell victim to an Arbitrum vault exploit resulting in a loss of over four hundred sixty thousand dollars. The attacker demonstrated significant sophistication by swapping the stolen assets through Ethereum, Chainflip, and NEAR Intents before finally converting them into Bitcoin. This cross chain movement highlights the growing complexity of tracking stolen funds in a multi chain environment and underscores the persistent risks in DeFi vaults.

Decentralized derivatives project Premia Labs was attacked, losing approximately $464,600. PeckShield detected on November 1 that the attacker bridged funds from Arbitrum to Ethereum, then swapped them via Chainflip and NEAR Intents into $BTC .

Routing through two cross-chain tools and then swapping into Bitcoin makes the funds much harder to track than if they had stayed on the original chain.
