A hacker quietly accumulated around $4M worth of $BONK , then submitted a DAO proposal asking to transfer 4.4 trillion BONK to a wallet he controlled.
The proposal sat there for 7 days... and almost nobody questioned it.
When voting opened, the hacker simply used the tokens he already owned to vote YES. The proposal passed, the tokens were transferred, and he wasted no time dumping them on the market.
End result?
Around $20M cashed out... roughly $16M in profit.
The funniest (and saddest) part? Only one person voted NO, saying:
"They didn't specify any clear idea of what they could do differently." 😂
This is a reminder that in crypto, weak governance can be just as dangerous as weak security.
