🔥 GTC vs IOC vs FOK: How Long Will the Order Stay Active?
Did you know that a Limit Order is controlled not only by its price, but also by its execution timing?
There are 3 important Time-in-Force options on Binance:
🟢 GTC (Good Till Cancelled)
The order stays active until it is executed or manually cancelled.
🟡 IOC (Immediate or Cancel)
Any quantity that can be executed immediately will be. The rest will be cancelled.
🔴 FOK (Fill or Kill)
The entire order must be executed immediately, or it will be cancelled in full.
🧠 Golden Rule:
GTC = Wait
IOC = Partial Fill Allowed
FOK = Full Fill or Cancel
