The Italian company Generative Bionic, specializing in human robotics, has completed a funding round of 70 million euros, with participation from Tether, AMD Ventures, the state-backed artificial intelligence fund from Italy, and others.
The company, which was founded just a year ago, develops AI-powered "physical" human robots intended to work in environments designed for humans, to perform tasks such as handling, lifting, and repetitive tasks that traditional robotic arms find difficult to accomplish easily.
