$ACU is currently trading around $0.125, with a circulating market cap of roughly $54 million. This AI + DePIN project isn't highly valued, so a recovery could be worth watching.
@Acurast puts those phones gathering dust in your drawer back to work, connecting them to the network to run computing tasks for developers.
You may think it's outdated, but it can still mine
#ACU According to figures published on its official website, more than 347,000 phones have been connected to date, with over 724,000 computing deployments. Mobile computing power already has a base of devices and a track record of deployments. The next thing to watch is how quickly paid demand can grow.
What matters most to me is the link between ACU and the business. Developers pay in ACU to use computing power, and those fees are burned. Computing providers can also participate in ACU staking. Growth in paid usage could increase token burn, while staking can lock up some of the supply.
As AI applications and agents really get going, someone will have to handle all those computing tasks. If Acurast can keep meeting that demand and support paid computing and fee burns, its current circulating market cap of $54 million leaves plenty of room for imagination.
