๐ŸŽฏ ETH/BTC has been pushed down to 0.0285โ€”the signal is here ๐Ÿ“ฐ ETH is at $2,188, down 18% in a month, while BTC is down just 8% over the same period. The ETH/BTC ratio fell to 0.02885 on Binance on 29/10, its lowest level since 24/07. With two trading sessions left in the month, October is showing a -10.2% return for the pair, on track for its worst month since September 2025 (-10.4%). The chart tells the story. From July to September, ETH/BTC posted three consecutive green months, rising from 0.02681 to 0.03212. October has already erased about 62% of that gain. Julyโ€™s low of 0.02870 is now just a breath away. In dollar terms, the gap is clear. Since 01/10 (Binance data at around 18:55 UTC), $ETH went from $2,686 to $2,331 (-13.2%), while $BTC went from $83,624 to $80,812 (-3.4%). Over 24 hours, ETH is down another 1.1%, compared with 0.4% for BTC. As for flows, Farside reports around $1.35 billion in net outflows from U.S. spot ETH ETFs between 01/10 and 28/10, including three consecutive negative sessions from 26 to 28/10 (-$170 million combined), led by BlackRockโ€™s ETHA (-$243 million over those three days). My interpretation, not a fact: in a market digesting a Fed that remained firm on 28/10 and September core PCE at 3.1% year over year, released on 29/10, capital is retreating to BTC and ETH is paying the risk premium. What could move things before the monthly close: if the ratio holds at 0.02870 and ETH ETFs return to inflows, a technical rebound toward 0.030 remains plausible; if 0.02870 breaks on a daily close, the June lows zone, below 0.027, becomes the reference again. What are you watching to decide whether ETH has bottomed against BTC: the monthly close on 31/10, a return to ETF inflows, or something else? #Ethereum #ETHBTC

Rather than watching BTC grind around 80,000, Iโ€™m more focused on ETHโ€™s exchange rate against BTC. It just hit a 90-day low. I ran the numbers myself using CoinGecko daily data: ETH/BTC was down to just 0.0290 three days ago and is now at 0.0291. A month ago, it was still above 0.032. In other words, over the past month $ETH has pulled back 13.6% from its 30-day high, while $BTC is down just 6.5%. ETH has fallen by almost twice as much. Looking at where they stand now, the two are in pretty different situations. BTC has stayed between 80,029 and 81,328 over the past 7 days, with a range of just 1.6%โ€”so tight itโ€™s a little suffocating. The 7-day moving average at 81,170 and the 30-day moving average at 82,780 are both overhead. It has also just fallen below the 60-day moving average at 81,355. For a real floor, Iโ€™m still watching the 90-day moving average around 76,980. ETH is in a more awkward spot. Itโ€™s currently at 2,354, just below the 90-day moving average at 2,373, with a recent low of 2,320. Getting back above 2,373 would offer some breathing room. If it loses 2,320, the exchange rate will probably keep making new lows ๐Ÿ˜… My take: BTC needs to break above 81,330 to get out of this narrow range. A drop below 80,000 could send it to test the 78,000 area. For ETH to turn things around, Iโ€™d first need to see its exchange rate stop making new lows. Simply rising along with BTC doesnโ€™t mean much. Question for everyone: do you think ETH/BTC will get back to 0.030 first, or drop below 0.028 first? ๐Ÿค” Just my personal opinion, not investment advice. $ETH is falling faster than $BTC : the ETH/BTC ratio dropped to 0.02881 this Saturday, 24/10, on Kraken, its lowest since 24/07. During the same hour (15:00 UTC), Ether fell below $2,300 ($2,279.80) for the first time since 20/08. Side by side, the gap is clear. Since the close on 06/10, ETH is down 13.6% ($2,697 to $2,332), while BTC is down 6.2% ($85,542 to $80,276). Over the same period, US spot Ether ETFs saw net outflows of $597M between 09/10 and 23/10, with outflows in 8 of 11 sessions, according to Farside. Bitcoin ETFs are also under pressure, but the price decline is half as large. The detail that interests me is in derivatives. On OKX, ETH open interest (all contracts) rose from around $1.72B (23/10, 23:00 UTC) to $1.82B (24/10, 18:00 UTC) while the price fell, and current funding is slightly negative. My take, which remains an interpretation: short positions are being added to ETH rather than longs exiting. Add to that the postponement of Glamsterdam on the Hoodi testnet, announced on 22/10 by the Ethereum Foundation, and Ether lacks a catalyst of its own in the short term. Two possible paths for the week: - If ETH/BTC reclaims 0.0295 and ETH closes above $2,400, the breakdown will look like a weekend flush, with short sellers forced to buy back. - A daily close below 0.0287 (the 24/07 low) would leave the ratio without nearby support before the 0.0280 zone, and the Fed meeting on 28/10 would then weigh on an already fragile Ether. Question: are you taking advantage of this ratio to increase your ETH holdings versus BTC, or are you waiting for a first session of inflows into Ether ETFs before making a move? #Ethereum #ETHBTC

ETH/BTC has fallen for five straight weeks. ETH/BTC has fallen for five straight weeks. Iโ€™ve been watching this ratio, and itโ€™s got me feeling a little wistful ๐Ÿ˜…

It hit 0.0293 last night
The September 13 high was still 0.0327
Down 10.4% in just over a month
It dropped 7.1% in the 12 days from October 7 to 19 alone

Breaking it down makes it even more painful
Over the past 30 days, $ETH fell 8.9%
$BTC , on the other hand, gained 0.8%
Thatโ€™s a 9.7-percentage-point gap
Over the past 7 days, ETH is also down 4.7%, while BTC is down just 1.0%

ETHโ€™s market cap is now around $293.2 billion
Just 17.8% of BTCโ€™s
From their respective highs, ETH is down 51.5%, while BTC is down 35%
Itโ€™s not just a one- or two-day slumpโ€”the relative strength gap keeps widening

My take is simple
At this stage, investors have more faith in BTCโ€™s certainty
ETH may have plenty of stories, but as long as ETFs are still seeing outflows and the ratio hasnโ€™t stopped falling,
betting on relative strength seems more reliable than trying to guess the absolute bottom

Do you think it can hold around 0.0293?
Or will it test the July low near 0.0289?

๐ŸŽฏ Ethereumโ€™s share of the crypto market cap is down to just 10.6% ๐Ÿ“ฐ Bitcoin is holding steady at 81k, while ETH has fallen to $2,394โ€”down 4.2% in 7 days and 6.2% in 30 days. Money is clearly flowing back into Bitcoin. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Hereโ€™s the painful truth: ETH/BTC has been steadily crushed, and holding ETH feels like being handed a list of losses. Bitcoin has the master bedroom, altcoins are stuck in the storage room, and ETH is caught in the middleโ€”the worst spot to be in. Not exactly a popular place. ๐Ÿท๏ธ #ETH #ไปฅๅคชๅŠ #่ต„้‡‘ๆตๅ‘ #ETHBTC

๐ŸŽฏ ETH/BTC has fallen to 0.0295, its weakest level in two months ๐Ÿ“ฐ A month ago it was at 0.0323; now itโ€™s 0.0295. Meanwhile, SOL/ETH has climbed from 0.0377 to 0.043. $ETH is falling twice as fast as $BTC on 14/10, and the ETH/BTC ratio has dropped to 0.02955 on Binance, below every daily close since 10/08. The idea circulating since yesterday: U.S. spot ETH ETFs are back in the green (+$24.8M on 13/10, according to Farside), so ETH should be ready to take the lead again. Todayโ€™s figures say otherwise. Since 00:00 UTC (Binance spot, snapshot at ~21:00 UTC), ETH is down 3.2% to around $2,418, while BTC is down 1.6% to around $81,800. The ratio was 0.03269 on 12/09, down about 9.6% in a month. And that +$24.8M is small compared with the -$720.4M across the eight sessions from 01/10 to 12/10, with BlackRockโ€™s ETHA at zero on 13/10. On Binance Futuresโ€™ ETHUSDT perpetual, open interest rose from around 2.27M ETH at 12:00 UTC to 2.38M ETH at 20:00 UTC (+4.5%), while the price slipped from ~$2,505 to ~$2,430. Funding is near zero. My interpretation, not a fact: positions are being opened into the drop, more likely shorts or hedges than longs capitulating. Whatโ€™s weighing on it: after the CPI, the probability of a Fed hike on 28/10 climbed to around 47โ€“54%, according to CME FedWatch figures cited by CoinMarketCap and Cointelegraph (about 22% the previous day). The PPI comes out Thursday, 15/10, and ETH is taking the stress first. Two possible paths. If the PPI is reassuring and ETH ETFs continue to see inflows, a return to 0.030 becomes plausible, with those shorts providing fuel. If rates remain sticky, the ~0.029 zone around the late-July and early-August lows comes back into focus, with ETH below $2,400 as the weak point. What would you need to see first before betting on ETH over BTC: three consecutive sessions of ETF inflows, a ratio above 0.030, or clearly negative funding? #Ethereum #ETHBTC

๐ŸŽฏ BTC rose 2% overnight, and ETH finally outperformed it ๐Ÿ“ฐ In the early hours, BTC climbed from $81K to $83K, up 2.1% in 24 hours. ETH surged 3%, reclaiming $2,500. The ETH/BTC exchange rate finally got some breathing room, but total crypto market cap is still shrinking. ๐Ÿ’ฌ After trading sideways for most of the night, the market suddenly broke outโ€”and this time ETH took the lead.
