A look back at the history of this historic transaction

It all began on May 18, 2010 when a developer known as Laszlo Hanyecz published on the famous Bitcointalk forum that he is willing to pay 10,000 bitcoins for someone to order him two pizzas:

"I will pay 10,000 bitcoins in exchange for a few pizzas... maybe two large pizzas, so I have some left for the next day. I like to have leftover pizza to snack on later. You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me in a restaurant, but my goal is to have me deliver food in exchange for bitcoins [...] If you are interested, let me know and we can find an arrangement. ”
