According to a report from Bloomberg on the 8th, Elon Musk’s Twitter has fired at least ten more content management staff members since the company was acquired by him (local time).

According to Bloomberg, which cited a source with knowledge of the situation, on December 6 Twitter fired at least ten employees based in Dublin, Ireland, and Singapore. Twitter claimed that these individuals worked for the trust and safety team, which is responsible for evaluating content safety and legal compliance.

Analuisa Dominguez, the senior director of revenue policy, and Nur Azar bin Ayob, who had only been with the company for a short time but held the position of head of Site Integrity for Asia Pacific, were both among those let go.

In addition, a number of individuals who worked on Twitter’s policy team to combat fake news were terminated from their positions.

Regarding this topic, Ella Irwin, who heads up Twitter’s trust and safety team, acknowledged that additional job cuts had been made through an email response. However, she clarified that this was not a target cut for the departments that were affected.

In November of the previous year, immediately following Musk’s takeover of Twitter, the company announced layoffs that affected 3,700 employees, which represented more than half of its total workforce of 7,000.

A class action lawsuit was filed against Twitter about a month ago over the discriminatory layoffs of female workers. Twitter is currently embroiled in several lawsuits related to the dismissal of its employees, including the lawsuit filed last month.
