The ultimate goal with Payment Abstraction:

- Web3 users should be able to pay for oracle services in the crypto assets they already have (gas tokens, stablecoins, RWAs, etc)

- Web2 users should be able to pay for oracle services using their traditional payment rails (credit card, bank transfer, FinTech apps, etc)

Reducing payment friction, while ensuring Chainlink service providers are paid in $LINK (which they can use or stake in the network), is key to increasing the monetization and cryptoeconomic security of the Chainlink Network
