A video shared on social media by a U.S. military officer, linked to a possible deployment to Iran, was swiftly deleted after triggering widespread outrage.
In the video, the officer claimed he would not be deployed to Iran, arguing that being in a country with “beautiful, wheat-colored women” could make him an operational security risk. His remarks immediately raised concerns about professionalism and discipline within military ranks.
He went on to say that if women asked him what OPRD was, he would tell them it was difficult to explain — adding that it would be “better to bring one and show it.”
(OPRD stands for Operations Order, a highly sensitive military document containing complete operational planning details.)
The video sparked intense reactions online. Some users referenced history, commenting: “Oh my God, remember the Iraq war and what they did to women and underage girls.”
Others criticized the officer’s fixation on women, stating that such individuals seem obsessed only with women and the wealth of other nations — and questioning whether these are truly the so-called “liberators” of Iranian women.
One user directly confronted the officer, pointing out that he had himself cast doubt on the professionalism and credibility of the U.S. military, suggesting that if he could be influenced so easily during a foreign deployment, he might even compromise his own country’s secrets.
