BNB is sitting at $698, staring at a $700 wall it has failed to hold for days.

Tuesday's CPI decides which side of that wall it lands on — and the whole market is watching the same number.

THE $700 WALL

BNB spent the weekend trapped in a tight $693–$702 band, up just 0.6% in 24 hours on thin ~$580M volume. It wicked to $702, then slipped back under. Again.

Support sits at $686–$688, with the 7-day low at $680 just below. Resistance is $700 — then nothing until $721. One bad print on Tuesday and support gets tested fast.

But BNB bled least this month: down 5.7% in 30 days against SOL's -18.3%, XRP's -16%, ETH's -9.7% and BTC's -7.4%. CZ noticed — replying to the comparison today: "Binance should decentralize, but unite."

Fear & Greed reads 28, yet BNB's own score is 47 — neutral — while SOL sits in extreme fear at 24.

WHY TUESDAY DECIDES IT

October CPI lands Tuesday 10 November, 8:30am ET — consensus +0.3% headline, +0.2% core. It's the last inflation print before the Fed's 8–9 December meeting, and after payrolls smashed forecasts (+165K jobs vs ~65K expected), a December hike is priced at roughly 75–79%.

One quirk: no year-on-year figure this time — the BLS never collected October 2025 prices during the shutdown — so the market trades purely off the monthly number, and a 0.1% surprise gets amplified.

TWO SCENARIOS — $BTC

Hot print (core above 0.3%): hike odds push toward 90%, risk-off takes over, and BNB's $686–$688 support is the first thing tested. Last time CPI came in hot, on 14 October, BNB fell 2.2% that day and nearly 4% by the next session.

Soft print (core at or below 0.2%): hike odds unwind and a $700 reclaim comes into play. But analysts are clear — BNB needs a sustained close above $710–$715 before $750 even enters the conversation.

Don't expect the breakout on CPI day itself — soft prints this year mostly produced small pops that faded within 48 hours. CPI is a volatility event first, a direction event second.

THE CHAIN KEEPS WORKING

BNB Chain keeps moving: TVL $5.1B, 14.9 million daily transactions, 3.2 million active addresses. Spot DEX volume is down 12% week-on-week while perps are up 15% — traders are positioning with leverage, not buying spot. The Jenner hardfork lands 8 December.

THE HONEST RISKS

Binance's CFO is leaving a week after the $6.3B hack. Binance France accounts close 31 December after failing to win MiCA authorisation. And withdrawals are still being restored in phases — "98% replenished" is not "fully restored."

BNB is the most resilient major in a scared market, pinned under a round number, 48 hours from the one print that decides December. Check $BNB's chart — that's where the story gets written.

WHAT TO WATCH

• CPI print, Tuesday 8:30am ET — core at 0.2% or below is the relief trigger

• $700 reclaim on real volume — or a break of $686 support

• $ETH and the wider market — if Bitcoin slips under $75K, BNB follows
