It was around 8 AM when I opened the $BNB chart again.
Four days earlier, $BNB had closed at $720 after a strong bounce. I remember thinking, "this is it, the recovery has started."
Then the market reminded me who is in charge. Bitcoin slipped below $77,000, the Nasdaq 100 fell into a correction, and BNB dropped under $700. As I write this, $BNB is trading around $695.
The old me would have done one of two things. Either I would have bought more to "average down," or I would have panic-sold at the worst moment.
This time I did neither. I opened my notes and read the plan I wrote before entering:
Risk is capped at 1 to 2% of capital.
If $700 doesn't hold, I stay out and wait.
No emotional decisions at 2 AM.
For context, this is not a new situation. October alone saw BNB fall about 8.5%, and it still sits roughly 49% below its all-time high. People who bought the top in 2025 are still waiting. The ones who survived had a plan, not a prediction.
So here is where I stand right now. Bnb is in the $680 to $720 area. That's a range, not a trend. I'm not calling a direction. I'm waiting for the market to show me, and I'm sizing small until it does.
One question for you: when price drops like this, do you stick to your plan, or does the 2 AM version of you take over?
