$ZEC just printed ~$208M in 24h volume while $BTC barely moved 0.5%.

Zcash is trading near $1,277 after rejecting $1,388 earlier today. Range low sits around $1,270. That is a tight, violent session for a coin that spent years off most traders' screens.

Why the attention now? Two stories are stacking: the NU7 upgrade (faster blocks, fee recycling for security) and a privacy narrative that keeps popping up whenever majors go quiet. Monthly performance has been holding up better than Bitcoin's roughly 8% drawdown in the same stretch.

My take: volume like this is not random. It means size is rotating into $ZEC while $BTC sits on $75K–$76K. That can work both ways — either ZEC leads a short-term risk-on bounce in mid-caps, or it dumps first if Bitcoin loses $75K again.

Levels I am watching: reclaim and hold above $1,360–$1,390 for momentum; lose $1,270 and the next air pocket is lower. Do not chase the wick without a plan.

Are you treating $ZEC as a privacy trade, or just a high-volume scalp while majors sleep?
