Russia Opens Crypto to Retail Investors From November 17
Russia's central bank confirmed ordinary investors can buy Bitcoin, Ether and USDT on regulated domestic exchanges from November 17, with Moscow Exchange planning a pilot launch on December 1.
Only those three assets made the list, based on market size, trading volume and five years of price history.
Risk remains high: retail buys are capped at 300,000 rubles, about $3,700, a year per broker, a risk test is mandatory, crypto payments remain banned, and Bitcoin is still flat near $75,900 with fear at extreme levels.
