165,000 JOBS KILLED THE BITCOIN REBOUND
🚨 Hot October payrolls lifted US stocks on Friday. Bitcoin refused to follow and sits stuck below $76,000.
1. October payrolls printed 165,000 jobs against a 65,000 forecast, and unemployment fell to 4.1% (BLS, Nov 6). December hike odds jumped from 72.8% to 77% on CME FedWatch, the dollar logged its biggest one-day gain in five months, and the 10-year yield hit 4.877%.
2. The Philadelphia semiconductor index closed up 4.2% on Friday, still down 12.1% for the week (Wall Street CN, Nov 6).
3. Bitcoin dipped below $75,000 on Thursday, rebounded to only $75,900, and trades at $75,924 now. The week's selloff erased $2 trillion from US equities, hedge fund liquidations hit the highest level since 2009 (BlockBeats), and Arini Capital lost 19.7% in October, down 32% for 2026 (Bloomberg, Nov 6).
My take: $BTC loses $74,888 before Monday's Asia open. Forced deleveraging does not pause for weekends.
What to watch: $74,888, the 24h low, into Monday's 09:30 Beijing open. Below it, forced selling accelerates.
Does BTC reclaim $76,378 first, or lose $74,888 first?
