The selloff was not an exit. It was a rotation.

$PEPE closed +2.66% and $HYPE +2.02% even as Bitcoin fell 5.2% on a tech-led flush, while $DOGE lagged at +0.32% but still finished green. The US session looked red on top, green underneath.

Open the tape. Where the money left: US spot BTC ETFs bled $430.2M net out — FBTC $199.9M, IBIT $105M — a full reversal from +$74.6M the day before. Where it went: not to idle stablecoins, but into high-beta memes whose volume held. Who caught it: retail, not institutions. That $430M exit was 7.8x PEPE's whole $55.3M daily turnover — a gap, not a match.

I am waiting. A rotation survives only while Bitcoin holds $75K; lose that and the memes lose their sponsor. I flip if PEPE drops below its Friday open while Bitcoin stays bid.

Institutions de-risked; retail rotated. Same tape, two directions.

Data as of today. Not financial advice.

Is this rotation real strength, or just leverage moving chairs?
