Binance: Another Step in the Phased Withdrawal Recovery 🤔😑👀

A recovery process is measured by operational progress, not just announcements. Binance has published another update on restoring withdrawals following its security incident.
In Recovery Update #9, published November 6 at 03:06 UTC, Binance said it would progressively reopen withdrawals for additional assets beginning at 04:00 UTC. The listed networks include BNB Smart Chain, Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche C-Chain, TRON, and SUI.

The important detail is that the reopening is not simultaneous. Binance says each network-and-asset pair will become available as security and readiness checks are completed. Deposits remain open, and the exchange warns that users may experience delays during the rollout.
For users, this means a token appearing in the announcement does not necessarily mean every withdrawal route is already available. The exact network matters. Sending an asset through the wrong network can create additional problems.
The broader lesson is that exchange security includes more than protecting balances. Reliable withdrawal infrastructure, transparent updates, and careful restoration are also essential parts of user trust.
What should exchanges prioritize after a major security incident: faster withdrawals, stronger verification, or more frequent public reporting? ❓😑
