Thanks to a well-timed trailing stop-loss, my last trade closed at breakeven. Once again, this proves just how crucial clear and transparent risk management is.
What's happening? Under the pressure of algorithmic spoofing (whales skillfully pressing the order book with fake orders), the price ultimately broke below the lower boundary of the descending channel. Large liquidity clusters and traders' stop-losses are perfectly visible to exchanges and market makers. We are simply getting hunted for stops, padding the exchanges' pockets with fee revenue.
In the current market reality, I am shifting to scalping. In a market like this, it is arguably the only successful strategy.
My plan for today:
If the stock market correction intensifies and the bulls fail to push the price back inside the channel boundaries by the end of Friday (our bullish target is $76,600), I am looking at a move toward $73,400 as the bearish target. Under those conditions, I will definitely be deploying short trades as well.
