What changed: Block time dropped from 75 to 25 seconds. 60% of block fees will be set aside and returned to miners gradually from around 2031. The old Sprout privacy pool was shut down, and roughly 12,000 ZEC (~$16M) left in it were at risk of becoming unspendable.

Where it stands: ZEC trades near $1,278. Over the past week it’s ranged between $1,122 and $1,392, and it’s still well below September’s high near $1,600.

What I’m watching:

🔺 Resistance: $1,347, then $1,392

🔻 Support: $1,243 (prior high), then $1,122

Two readings:

🐂 The “sell the news” fade stayed mild, which can signal strength relative to the market.

🐻 Upgrade-driven rallies can still fade over days, and a governance dispute over grant funding is unresolved.

⚠️ ZEC is highly volatile. Size small, and never trade money you can’t afford to lose.
