🔹 On 29 October 2026, Binance faced a record $6.4 billion hot wallet theft across 10 blockchains after hackers tricked an engineer with a fake job interview coding test.
🔶 On 22 October 2026, a flaw in PHP (website coding language) sparked fears until BNB Chain confirmed it does not use PHP.
🔷 Now the Reth bug: an open-source counting glitch that caused unpatched computers to stall, but it is not a hack and stole zero funds.
