Hack. ~$6.3B gone. Binance says it's covering losses. But the questions it raised aren't going away:
đ Custody: Even the biggest exchange can be breached.
đ§ Censorship resistance: Stablecoins freeze in a click. Stolen BTC and ETH don't, and they're hard to recover.
đ Security: The chains held. People and custody setups didn't.
The blockchains weren't broken. The "crypto is automatically safe" assumption took a hit.
