What NOT to Do in Trading

I will be honest with you: the fastest way to lose money in this market is not a bad trade. It is trading with no rules at all.

The one mistake I see most often is entering a trade without a stop-loss. Yesterday's market showed why that hurts — Bitcoin fell nearly 6% in a day and over a billion dollars of positions were liquidated. A trader with a planned stop-loss walks away with a small, controlled loss. A trader with no stop-loss watches a small loss become a big one, and then panics.

✅ Do: decide your stop-loss before you enter — and stick to it.
✅ Do: risk only a small part of your capital on any single trade.
✅ Do: wait for the US jobs report today before chasing a move — big news can swing prices both ways in minutes.
❌ Don't: enter a trade just because everyone else is buying or selling.
❌ Don't: move your stop-loss further away hoping the price will come back.

Success does not come in one day. It comes from discipline, patience, risk management, and learning every day.
