Samsung Wallet just switched on USDC accounts for eligible U.S. Galaxy phones, settled on Solana.
On November 5, 2026, Samsung said its Stablecoin Account is live in Samsung Wallet, so eligible U.S. users can buy, hold, send, and receive USDC on $SOL without a separate crypto app or private keys. About 82 million compatible Galaxy devices qualify; users need Android 13+, a Samsung Account, and age 18+, while New York residents are excluded for now.
Custodian Bastion runs the accounts and rails. Samsung charges no fee for USDC sends to other Samsung Wallet users or compatible external wallets, and eligible users can pay out to banks in more than 60 countries. The firm said it will explore in-app and in-store stablecoin payments plus more markets over time.
