The cost of FOMO: Circle ($CRCL ) hit $298.99 in June 2025, closed yesterday at $76.12, and anyone who bought the top is sitting on a −74.5% loss.
→ $1,000 put in at the peak is worth $255 today
→ It bottomed at $49.90 in February 2026, a −83% drawdown, and the March bounce died at $136.65
→ It needs a +293% rally just to get back to the peak
My take: the price paid in the first weeks after the IPO was driven by crowd euphoria, not by the company's growth. Worst case: if the stock breaks below the $49.90 February low, the "it's cheap now" crowd gets burned a second time. That's the level I'm watching.
