INVESTOR’S JOURNAL — The discipline to survive a correction
Every market correction creates two types of investors.
Those who react emotionally to every red candle.
And those who use uncertainty to reassess their investment thesis.
Bitcoin’s recent decline and recovery above $80K remind us that volatility is not the same as opportunity.
A falling price alone doesn’t make an asset undervalued.
Before buying, I want answers to three questions:
1. Has the fundamental thesis changed?
2. Is the current valuation attractive?
3. What happens if the market falls another 15–20%?
My rule: Protecting capital is part of investing. Cash is also a position, and patience is also a strategy.
The objective isn’t to buy every dip. It’s to identify the dips worth buying.
