Squeeze alert on BNB, but it's the wrong kind of squeeze.
Funding's sitting at +0.0126% while open interest dropped 5.3% in 24 hours. Retail is 2.33 long against smart money at 1.04. That's not fuel for a pump, that's money walking out the door while the crowd stays long. I'd watch it, not touch it.
BTC just reclaimed $80,712 after that $75,736 election-night low, up 4.3%. ETH did better at $2,428, up 6.6%. But volume is only 0.06x average, OBV is pointing down, and taker buy is 0.67x. That tells me shorts got squeezed, not that fresh money is buying. RSI at 67 on top of a tight $80,376 to $81,065 box is where distribution usually hides.
Macro isn't helping either. BOE and BOJ both leaning toward hikes, gold parked near $4,064, dollar firm. Fear and greed at 50, right in the middle. That's not a risk-on backdrop to chase a 4% rip.
I'm waiting. If $80,376 cracks, $75,736 comes back into play fast. A real long only makes sense on a daily close above $81,065 with volume actually showing up. Not before.
