🇺🇸 US ELECTIONS JUST SHOOK THE MARKETS — WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR BITCOIN?

The US midterm elections are delivering a major political shift.

Democrats have secured control of the Senate, while the final outcome in the House remains uncertain. Early results have already triggered a reaction across global markets.

What are investors watching?

📉 US stock futures moved lower.
💵 The US dollar weakened.
📊 Treasury yields declined.

But why should crypto investors care?

1. Crypto regulation could face a new challenge

A divided government could make it harder to pass major crypto legislation. Bills affecting stablecoins, digital asset market structure and exchange regulation may face a more complicated path through Congress.

2. The Federal Reserve remains a major risk factor

On October 28, the Fed kept interest rates at 3.75%–4%.

Inflation is still elevated, and some policymakers even supported a rate increase.

This matters because cheaper money and improving liquidity generally support risk assets — including Bitcoin. But if inflation stays stubborn, the market may have to wait longer for easier monetary policy.

3. Bitcoin is already facing pressure

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $399 million in outflows in one session, marking a second consecutive day of withdrawals.

That is worth watching. Institutional demand has been an important part of Bitcoin’s market structure.

My take:

I don’t see the election result alone as a reason to expect a major crypto rally or crash.

The bigger issue is the combination of political uncertainty, delayed regulatory decisions, ETF outflows and the Fed’s restrictive stance.

For now, I would watch BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP, while paying close attention to ETF flows, Treasury yields and the dollar.

The next major move may depend less on political headlines and more on whether institutional money starts returning to the market.

If you made it this far, a like and follow costs you nothing — but it gives me the motivation to keep bringing you research that matters.
