Liquidated five days ago — and he is already back at 40x leverage.
On-chain trackers flagged it yesterday: James Wynn returned to Hyperliquid with a 40x short on 1.256 coins — about $96,000 in size — with liquidation sitting just above at $78,227.92. Five days earlier, his last wipeout had closed the same cycle.
This is the same trader who once turned millions into dust through repeated 40x bets. The pattern never changed — only the deposit got smaller.
Meanwhile $BTC trades near $75,928, $ETH near $2,234, and $SOL near $91, after $117.9 million in positions were liquidated in 24 hours — longs and shorts nearly even.
Lesson: at 40x leverage, a move of barely 2.5% wipes you out completely. Size down. Never revenge-trade after a loss — the market does not remember your last trade, but your account does.
Would you ever touch 40x leverage after a liquidation?
