$BTC: Bad News Everywhere, but Bitcoin Refuses to Break. Why?
One of the most interesting signals in a market isn't how strongly it reacts to good news. It's how little it reacts to bad news.
Bitcoin has reportedly been holding around $76,000–$78,000, despite growing uncertainty across financial markets.
That reminds me of 2023.
Back then, the collapse of several crypto-friendly banks, regulatory lawsuits and aggressive monetary tightening created a deeply bearish environment.
Yet BTC eventually recovered, breaking above $31K and reaching approximately $42K by December 2023.
Could we be seeing another accumulation phase?
Possibly. But price resilience alone doesn't prove accumulation.
The levels I'm watching in this scenario are:
- $75K: Critical weekly support area.
- $76K–$78K: Near-term consolidation range.
- $89K: Major resistance to reclaim.
A sustained breakout above resistance would strengthen the bullish thesis. Losing $75K could instead expose further downside.
The 2023 comparison is worth studying, but history doesn't guarantee a repeat.
The real question: are buyers absorbing supply, or is Bitcoin simply consolidating before another breakdown?
