Binance co-founder CZ is calling on the crypto industry to team up on security as AI speeds up attacks.

In interviews published on November 3, 2026, Changpeng "CZ" Zhao said AI tools can now scan code for flaws far faster than people, putting every exchange, wallet service and bank at risk. His answer is to use AI for defense too, backed by more security staff and partnerships with AI security providers. "The industry needs to use AI to prevent AI hacks," he told CoinDesk.

He also urged an industry security alliance to share lessons and best practices, run cross-audits and help freeze stolen funds faster. Talks are underway, though no formal group has been announced yet. Zhao added that all user funds are covered after the October 29 incident, with Binance absorbing the loss while withdrawals keep reopening in phases, a reassuring signal for $BNB holders.
