Bitcoin Is Testing $76K. Is This a Buying Opportunity or a Warning?

Bitcoin is trading near $77,000, and the market is getting nervous.

But one important development has changed: Binance has completed its latest Proof of Reserves verification.

So why is Bitcoin still under pressure?

Here is what matters:

- Bitcoin: Around $76,900–$77,000 in early November 3 trading.
- Key support: $76,000–$76,600. This area has been tested several times.
- Resistance: $78,000, followed by the important $80,000 level.
- Market sentiment: Fear is increasing, while recent ETF outflows show that institutional demand needs to improve.

There is also some positive news.

Binance says users can now independently verify that ten major assets, including BTC, ETH, USDT and BNB, are backed at least 1:1 in its October 31 reserves snapshot.

However, this is not a full independent audit. Binance also says around 95% of the affected assets have been replenished. The remaining 5% mainly consists of less-liquid tokens.

My trading view:

I would not call this a confirmed buying opportunity yet.

I am watching three things:

1. Support: Does BTC hold above $76,000, or does it close below that level?
2. Spot demand: Do Bitcoin ETFs start attracting fresh money instead of seeing more outflows?
3. Recovery: Can Binance restore more withdrawal networks smoothly without creating fresh uncertainty?

If BTC holds support and buying volume improves, a move toward $78K–$80K becomes possible.

But if $76K breaks with strong selling pressure, the market could test lower levels near $74K–$75K.

A lesson for retail traders:

A price falling into support does not automatically make it cheap. Wait for evidence that buyers are defending the level.

Don't let fear push you into a trade, and don't let a small green candle convince you that the trend has changed.
