North Korea denied on Monday US allegations that North Korea stole more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance. Kim Yo Jong, leader Kim Jong-Un's sister, dismissed the accusation as "absurd rhetoric," Reuters reported, citing KCNA. The FBI said over the weekend that cybercriminals sponsored by North Korea carried out the theft. Binance estimated losses at roughly $6.3 billion. The US Secret Service said federal agencies are working together to trace the funds and seek recovery.
