đšALERT FOR BINANCE WEB 3 WALLET USERS!
Keep an eye out if you're using Binance Web3 wallet interfaces. There is an active "DUSTING ATTACK" floating around involving a token called GTE.
I checked my assets and noticed exactly 200 unknown GTE tokens sitting in my wallet that were sent across two separate unrequested inbound transfers. When you look closer at the token's active distribution on-chain data, it shows over 823 Binance holders. This means more than 800 regular wallets have been hit with these exact same tokens out of nowhere.
If you check the token's Binance Square community tab, you'll see a massive red flag: automated bot accounts spamming identical, repetitive posts calling it a "distinctive project." This is a classic trick to manufacture fake social hype and lure people into interacting with the contract.
The golden rule for Web3 safety applies here perfectly: if you didn't buy it or expect it, leave it completely alone. Never try to swap, send, or bridge unknown tokens that randomly land in your assets. Trying to interact with them can trigger malicious smart contract permissions that compromise your wallet security.
Instead, use the "Spam Report" tools or simply mute the asset so it stays buried out of sight. Keep your security defenses active and stay safe out there.
Have any of you guys seen this GTE token pop up in your assets over the last few days? Let's spread the word drop your status below!
