Strategy is back to buying Bitcoin. The company led by Michael Saylor has resumed its Bitcoin accumulation strategy, purchasing 811 BTC worth approximately $65.5 million between October 26 and November 1, 2026.

According to the company's latest filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Bitcoin was acquired at an average price of approximately $80,846 per coin.

The latest purchase brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to an impressive 849,327 BTC, valued at approximately $65.9 billion at the time of reporting. The company has spent around $64.1 billion accumulating its Bitcoin reserves, with an average purchase price of $75,451 per BTC.

How Did Strategy Fund the Purchase?

Strategy financed its latest Bitcoin acquisition through proceeds from selling its Class A common shares (MSTR) under its at-the-market offering program.

During the same period, the company sold approximately 1.18 million MSTR shares, generating around $164 million.

Strategy continues to use its capital-raising strategy to expand its Bitcoin treasury while managing its financial obligations and preferred stock commitments.

Michael Saylor Remains Bullish on Bitcoin

Executive Chairman Michael Saylor has consistently supported Bitcoin as a long-term treasury asset. Before the latest announcement, he shared his familiar orange Bitcoin accumulation chart on social media, suggesting another purchase was approaching.

The latest acquisition reinforces Strategy's commitment to building one of the world's largest corporate Bitcoin reserves.

What Does This Mean for the Crypto Market?

Strategy's renewed buying activity comes at a challenging time for the cryptocurrency market, following significant market volatility and the recent Binance security incident.

Large Bitcoin purchases by publicly traded companies can attract institutional attention and strengthen confidence in Bitcoin's long-term investment narrative.

However, a single corporate purchase does not guarantee an immediate Bitcoin price increase. Market direction will also depend on institutional demand, ETF flows, macroeconomic conditions and investor sentiment.

The Bigger Picture: With 849,327 BTC now in its treasury, Strategy continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to Bitcoin, even as the broader crypto market faces uncertainty.
