While Twitter argues about whether $ETH is dead, wallet 0x9EcA was busy buying.

The USDC came straight out of Kraken and Crypto.com, and the buying was done in batches on-chain. Nobody knows yet who is behind it.

Not every whale agrees, though. A 2015 ICO-era address, which on-chain sleuths link to POAP founder Patricio Worthalter, dumped 2,000 ETH for about 4.53M USDC at $2,269 the same night.

My view: when fresh money pulls USDC off exchanges to buy spot, not perps, that's conviction, not a gamble. $2,286 is now the line this whale has to defend.
