Binance Hack, 4 Days Later: What's Back, What's Still Frozen, and What's Next

Four days after the $6.3 billion Binance hack, the picture is clearer. Binance says it has replaced about 95% of the stolen tokens, and about $3 billion of the loot is frozen with help from Tether, Circle and others. The FBI has blamed North Korea's TraderTraitor group, and on-chain trackers say the hacker is still moving funds — $46 million in Solana shifted toward Bitcoin on November 1 alone.
Withdrawals reopened November 1 in phases, and users pulled a net $3.64 billion in the first nine and a half hours — just 2.1% of Binance's $171 billion in assets. But 531 of 552 listed coins were still suspended at last check, and the final 5% of less liquid tokens is still being sourced.
One honest caveat: Binance's own figures are not an independent audit, and a fresh proof-of-reserves report is due — that is the real trust test. Not financial advice, always do your own research.
