The Binance outflow story now has two different totals, and both cannot be right at once. 📰

Binance counted a 9.5 hour window, 06:00 to 15:30 UTC on 1 November, with 4.65 billion dollars in withdrawals against 1.01 billion dollars in deposits, a net outflow of about 3.6 billion dollars. Source: CoinDoo, 2 November, citing Binance and The Block. ⚠️ A 24 hour tracker window includes pre reopening hours, and funds moved into new Binance hot wallets can register as outflows until those addresses are labelled, so the windows and the wallets explain much of the gap. The 2.1 percent ratio also rests on 28 October reserve data, before the surge, while the next proof uses a 31 October snapshot, not post surge balances.

Is this a measurement gap that closes when wallets are labelled, or a real exit that the window is hiding? 🤔
