89% of 2026's stolen crypto traces back to one actor.
Chainalysis (published Oct. 30) says North Korea is linked to 89% of 2026 crypto hack losses, and the FBI has now confirmed its role in the roughly $6B Binance incident, asking DeFi teams to block flagged BTC, ETH and SOL addresses.
My take: the weak link keeps being keys and custody, not the chains themselves. Faster address blocking helps, but it only works if protocols actually respond quickly.
Which matters more for your own safety: self-custody habits or exchange transparency? $BTC $ETH $SOL
