Two big security scares in one week, and the cleanup is already underway.

Polymarket says 689 of 726 breached wallets are refunded in full, with the other 37 paid as each claim is verified. It is also paying $1.19 million to about 5,500 wallets hurt by its trading halt (Stocktwits). Meanwhile $BTC held near $78,000 over the weekend.

My take: fast, transparent compensation matters as much as the fix itself. Markets calmed because users saw money returned, not just promises.

Which matters more to you when picking a platform: compensation speed or proof-of-reserves transparency?
