$BTC Holds Near $77.6K as Binance Replenishes 90% of Affected Assets Is Confidence Coming Back ? There's a bigger story behind this weekend's price action. Following the $6.3B hot-wallet incident, Binance says it has replenished around 90% of the affected assets, using SAFU, its Futures Insurance Fund and corporate funds. BTC, ETH, USDT, $BNB , SOL, USDC, $XRP , USD1, RLUSD and ZEC are now listed as 100% reserve-backed. The remaining 10% consists of less-liquid tokens that may take longer to source. That's meaningful progress. But replacing affected assets is not the same as recovering the stolen funds. Binance separately reported that around $3B had been frozen on-chain. The market is still cautious. BTC is trading near $77.6K, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $643.3M in net outflows on October 30, and the Altcoin Season Index stood at 59, below the 75 threshold associated with broad altcoin leadership. Binance has published a new Proof of Reserves snapshot, with the full zero-knowledge proof expected by November 3. The exchange also says withdrawals remain on track to resume today, November 1, with final rollout details still to be confirmed. The next test is clear: safe withdrawals, independently verifiable reserves and progress on the remaining assets.
