🚨 JPMORGAN PROJECTS 10% A YEAR FOR $BTC OVER 10 YEARS
J.P. Morgan's 2027 assumptions put Bitcoin at 10% returns over 10 years, versus 7.5% for U.S. stocks and 5.5% for gold, a first in 31 years (CoinDesk, Oct 20).
The catch: 55% volatility, versus 18% for stocks. That is why a 20.9% arithmetic average compounds down to 10%.
My take: this is bigger than one forecast, it puts Bitcoin inside Wall Street's framework. But a forecast is not a recommendation, JPM keeps it out of its portfolio models.
