$1,000 in $HYPE a week ago is $1,153 today. The same $1,000 in $BTC? $961.
The math, using Binance hourly closes:
• Oct 24, 13:00 UTC: HYPE closed at $75.88 → $1,000 buys 13.18 HYPE
• Now: $87.46 × 13.18 = $1,153 (+15.3%)
• BTC over the same 7 days: −3.9% → $961
The part nobody screenshots: at the Oct 29 spike, HYPE closed as high as $96.42 on the hourly. That same bag was worth about $1,271 at the top. Today it's down 4.7% on the day, trading between $86.36 and $94.02 over 24h. So the gain is real, but over 40% of the peak paper profit has already been handed back.
Hold case: it's still the strongest chart of the big 7 while BTC, ETH and SOL bleed on the week.
Take-profit case: lower highs since the spike, and HYPE can drop 10% in an afternoon. High volatility, size accordingly.
Would you hold the 13 HYPE or lock in the $153?
Not financial advice.
